Haylee had her surgery yesterday. She did great! When she first got into preop she didn't want her gown, hat or slipper socks on. She kept trying to take them off. AFter about 5-10 minutes they gave her some special "apple juice" which made her a little loopy. Trent and I were laughing it was so funny. By looking at the pictures you can tell when she started to "feel good". Doctor Jones said she would feel a lot better and be more active after it was done, what I didn't expect was 2 hours after she woke up she wanted to go outside and play. It was a challenge to keep her in bed yesterday and took a lot of bribing. Today is up and playing trying to jump on the trampoline. She didn't really need any pain medicine yesterday, I just gave it to her before bed so she would have a good night. But she was about the last one to bed and definately the first one awake. I have to keep reminding her that she had surgery yesterday and she can't do everything she wants.

Poor thing. She looked pretty scared. Good thing for medicine. I was thinking about her yesterday! Hope she keeps getting better.
Wow, she did amazing! We are happy to hear she recovered so quickly!
