Gotta love kids!

Okay so this was a funny. At least it was to me and so I'm sharing with with you... A little background first. Hunter and Belle, the little girl I babysit, have a love hate relationship. They don't always get along, but Hunter will have to say goodbye when she goes or he throws a fit and when they see each other at church they are so excited! Anyway, yesterday Hunter and Isabelle were actually getting along for more than one minute and I was pondering on the thought that wow they're actually getting along, then Belle starts crying. I get upstairs and Belle's nose is bleeding, dripping on her clothes. I get her taken care of and then put Hunter in time-out telling him he can't hit people. He looks at me a little stunned, like he couldn't believe she was bleeding, and says, "But I didn't hit her." I of coarse replied, "Yes you did and people get hurt see she's bleeding." He responds back, "But I didn't hit her I bonked her!" I said, "yes, we don't hit." He says, "But, Mommy, I didn't hit her I bonked her!" He was absolutely adimate (sp?) that bonking someone and hitting someone was different......needless to say I had to turn my head so he didn't see me smile and chuckle. Anyway, that's my funny for the day, yesterday anyway.
