CARSON GREGORY STOKES

Surprised? Yes. Disappointed? Defintely NOT! All we wanted was a healthy baby and we got one. Carson Gregory Stokes was born on March 16, weighing 9lb 3oz. and was 21 3/4 in. long. The labor and delivery was fast and easy. Then again I had been experiencing labor pains for about 3 weeks prior. His face was bruised pretty bad, which happens when a baby's born in 30 seconds.

Carson is a very good baby and I have chastize myself for being frustrated when he shows a little difficulty. He is awake for 4 hours a day and wakes to eat every 3 hours at night. So basically it's one late night feeding, one middle of the night feeding and one early morning feeding. Really not bad at all. He sleeps through anything, which is good since he came to a LOUD family.

All the kids are loving having baby brother around and they all want to help Mommy take care of him. We had to go through a few minor adjustments to having a new one at home, but everyone is doing well. They all love to hold him, Haylee likes to hold him the longest, a true mom at heart. Connor likes to hold him, but gets nervous when he gets wiggly. Hunter loves being the big brother. He has adjusted well, especially for being mom's baby for almost 4 years.

That's our little update on our new little guy.

What a cutie. I think he looks just like Grandma Devlin in those first few pictures. We can't wait to meet him in person. We are happy to hear that everyone is doing well. Congratulations!
