My Poor Baby
My little girl is infected with hives. Monday night she was complaining about her back itching really bad. We were driving so I couldn't look at it. After we got home, had dinner and FHE I looked at her back (remembering). And needless to say I practically freaked out. I tore off her shirt and her stomach and arms were covered, then I had her take off her pants and so were her legs on both sides. She had bright red bumps all over her, some small like mosquito bites and some were huge like quarters. I called Stacey Feigle, who is an RN, trying to describe it the best I could, asked her what it could be. She said I bet it's chicken pox, I was in disbelief, surprised, there was no way. I couldn't believe it although I have heard of cases of kids who were vaccinated and still got them. What a mess I thought, with preschool, Branson and little babies I was hoping and praying it was something else. We went to the Dr.'s yesterday and he said it was hives. A relief, but still concerned. She was majorly itchy and fussy and...lets just say I'm going to need a mom's night VERY soon. Today she woke up with her right eye swollen almost shut from it. Dr. Jones said it was caused by her tonsils, since there was no sign of kanker sores in her mouth. So he gave me some names of ENT's since mine had passed away and said to make sure this is done by spring. He said he was surprised that she was able to breathe her tonsils are so big. So...next on the list for Haylee...surgery. Somehow I have to convince her it won't be that bad cause she gets to eat ice cream and all her favorite things...Wish me luck!

Poor Hayley! I think that between Hayley's surgery and Lincoln's colic, you and I deserve a night out as soon as we get to Clovis! We will leave the kids with their dad's and enjoy a night on the town! Can't wait to see you guys, we missed you at New Year's...
Poor Haylee. I am glad it wasn't chicken pox, but it is too bad she will have to have surgery.
